Una serie realizzata da un fan farà da prequel a Rise of the Tomb Raider



Nella giornata di oggi è stata annunciata una mini-serie dedicata a Tomb Raider e che fungerà da prologo per Rise of The Tomb Raider. La notizia è stata diffusa dall'attore e regista Stephen Lunsford attraverso il proprio profilo Instagram. “Sono felice di annunciare che darò vita a una mini-serie di Tomb Raider che sarà pubblicata con Rise of the Tomb Raider” ha dichiarato Lunsford nel messaggio che è stato successivamente cancellato “Questa fungerà da prequel al gioco e a un eventuale film. Siamo attualmente in fase di pre-produzione. Grazie a Crystal Dynamics per il sostegno in questa produzione e non vedo l'ora che diventi realtà.”



Successivamente Lunsfors ha spiegato: “Questa attualmente è una produzione non ufficiale creata dai fan per i fan del franchise di Tomb Raider. Stiamo comunque lavorando con Crystal Dynamics per portare la rappresentazione più accurata possibile dell'universo Tomb Raider.”

Rise of the Tomb Raider prequel video series coming from Stephen Lunsford

Rise of the Tomb Raider has inspired a fan-made prequel video series helmed by actor, writer and director Stephen Lunsford.

Lunsford, who plays Matt on Teen Wolf and more pertinently wrote the Tomb Raider Facts video series, announced the series on both Twitter and Instagram.

His original posts have since been deleted, as there was some confusion as to the nature of the project. In follow-up posts, Lunsford stressed that the project is not an official product – although Crystal Dynamics is helping out.

“This is not an officially licensed Tomb Raider production. This is currently a unofficial production created by fans for the fans of the Tomb Raider franchise,” he said.

“We are however working with Crystal Dynamics to bring the most accurate representation of the character and the Tomb Raider universe. Looking to film this May. Will update soon.”
